When looking to make a little extra money online, many people look into doing online surveys. Forthright Surveys is one of many survey sites available today.
I generally don’t recommend doing online surveys because of the little amount of money you make for the time spent.
However, it isn’t the worst way to make use of your time when you’re bored. And you can help improve businesses and products.

Why Do Online Surveys
Besides making some extra money for yourself, online surveys do serve a higher purpose.
Companies use the results of online surveys to understand better how their customers view their products and services.
Online surveys allow customers the ability to influence the improvement of their favorite brands, services, and products.
In this review, we’ll discuss how to use Forthright, how much you can make taking Forthright surveys, and if it is legitimate or a scam.
But first, here are some things to consider when considering an online survey site to use.
How to Choose an Online Survey Company
Online surveys take time and don’t provide too much in return, so you want to be careful about which one you choose.
Here are some aspects of online survey platforms to consider:
- Signup process
- Is it free and easy to join?
- Don’t ever pay to take surveys!
- How much information do you have to give them to join?
- Is it free and easy to join?
- Personal information (read their privacy policy)
- One aspect of taking surveys is the need to understand the demographics of those taking them.
- However, be careful about sharing personal information. Don’t share:
- Confidential information like address, phone number, birth date, or social security number.
- Financial information
- If they ask questions that are too personal, move on to a different site.
- Understand how they’ll share your information
- If they are going to share your email address with third parties, you may be opening yourself up to receiving a lot of spam emails.
Pro Tip: When joining online survey sites, create a separate email address just for that purpose. Even if they don’t share your email with others, survey sites tend to send a lot of emails regarding new surveys.
- Are they upfront about how much surveys pay and how long they take?
- How do you get paid?
- Do you need to reach a minimum to get your money?
- Are you paid via Paypal, gift cards, or by check?
While it might be helpful to make a little extra money each month by taking online surveys, you need to be careful, and you want to make the most of your time.
What Is Forthright Surveys?

Forthright is a survey site where you make money by sharing your opinion. The Forthright website is beforthright.com. It used to be known as innoPoll.
Forthright Surveys doesn’t have an app like Survey Junkie, InboxDollars, or Swagbucks, but the site is mobile friendly.
Forthright focused on a mobile-friendly, mobile-first strategy and instant rewards.
And instead of having to log in and search through surveys, they are delivered to your inbox. You also have the option of text notifications. That way, you don’t miss any.
Additionally, instead of keeping track of points, the rewards are in real dollars.

- Bitcoin

Additionally, you can donate your rewards to Habitat for Humanity or let your rewards accumulate and redeem them when you have a larger balance.
How Much Money Can You Make?
As I’ve said many times on my site, I’m not a big fan of online surveys.
I prefer to find opportunities where the earning potential is not tied to the amount of time needed.
And with online surveys, the earning potential is meager considering how much time they generally take.
With that said, you can typically earn between $1 and $3 for online surveys depending on the length of them. Occasionally, you may find one paying up to $5.
The surveys usually take between 5 and 30 minutes to complete.
Additionally, for every three Forthright Surveys you complete, you earn an additional $2 loyalty bonus.
There is no limit to how much you can make with Forthright Surveys per day, but there is a $10 limit per day on partner surveys.
However, you may not have enough surveys available each day to make that much, and you will not qualify for every survey.
And be aware that you may have to pre-screening surveys and find that you don’t qualify for the study.
Is Forthright Surveys Legitimate, or Is It a Scam?
Whether online survey sites are a scam or are a legitimate activity is a common question that is asked.
You don’t have to pay to use Forthright Surveys (other than with your time). And they do actually pay you for your time.
So, no, Forthright Surveys isn’t a scam.
However, I wouldn’t call it a legitimate way to make money if you need a decent amount.
If you are just looking to make a few dollars here or there while you are waiting in line doing nothing else, then it is definitely legitimate.
Do I Recommend Using Forthright Surveys?
While I wouldn’t discourage you from trying Forthright Surveys out, I’d recommend using Survey Junkie, InboxDollars, or Swagbucks in your spare time.
Those two online survey companies have more opportunities daily to earn some extra cash. Further, they both have a mobile app available.
While Forthright Surveys has a decent mobile experience on their website, having a mobile app on your phone is just easier to navigate and use.
However, what the other sites are lacking is a $2 loyalty bonus for every three surveys.
Several comments on the internet have indicated that Forthright Surveys used to be much better.
Many people find that they qualify for a lower number of surveys than they used to. And sometimes, that is after going through numerous qualification surveys.
However, people love the fact that there is no minimum to cash out, and you can get paid instantly via PayPal.

Summary
Online survey sites can appear to be pretty scammy when they promise to pay you for a little of your time.
And some of them will flood your inbox with a ton of spam.
However, Forthright Surveys is a straightforward site, and you can receive instant payments for your time.
If you are looking for a site that just connects you to surveys and pays you better than most to complete them, Forthright Surveys may be for you.
But realize that you may not have as many opportunities as other sites, and you may not qualify for many surveys, which results in you wasting your time.
The upside for Forthright in that aspect is that you receive a $2 loyalty bonus even for those that disqualify you during or after you complete them.
